John Ritchie 1751-1828

John traveled from Scotland to help his ailing brother Hugh with his business in 1807. When Hugh died in 1808, John acquired the Shipyard business and continued until his death on 4th April 1828. John's Son-in-law, Alexander McLaine, purchased the ongoing enterprise shortly thereafter
